In the past years at Berkeley, I obtained dual degrees in chemistry and physics, followed by a master’s degree in materials science and engineering. Before joining Asta Group, I worked on method development in ab initio quantum chemistry and modeling of scintillator materials. I am interested in exploring problems at the intersection of chemistry and materials science. My current research focuses on DFT simulation of chemical and electrochemical processes at the surface of materials. And I hope my findings could provide insights into engineering materials interface for more efficient and selective chemistry.
