Ph.D. Student

I obtained my BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sao Paulo (EESC-USP). There I worked on the FEM applied to polymers undergoing dynamic deformation. I also received my Diplome d’Ingenieur from ENSTA Paris majoring in smart mobility and vehicular engineering. On top of that, I got my MS in Solid Mechanics from Ecole Polytechnique (IP Paris). During my master’s thesis I studied the interaction between screw dislocations and interstitial solutes in bcc alloys using ab initio calculations at CEA Saclay. In Fall 2022, I started my PhD in MSE at UC Berkeley. My research will focus on dislocations in high entropy alloys (HEAs) through computational studies.
